Tsen Seong Hoong, famously known as Seong, started competing in cycling races in 1990, and had since been cycling competitively until today. Despite his retirement from professional cycling in 2003, he has never lost his dedication in cycling and his passion for cycling never stops growing.

The 50-year-young former national cyclist has participated eight times at the Le Tour de Langkawi. In the last 5 years, Seong made a comeback at 45 years old, and the last UCI sanctioned tour he raced in was the Tour de Selangor 2019, getting himself an overall GC at 33rd place, among the 120 riders.

Children love cycling. Being a father of two sons who loves cycling, he shares with us how being a parents should guide their kids throughout the cycling journey. It is not how you start the sports, it is how you far you can go. To excel in cycling, parents absolutely play a key role in it.
