One of the major changes in the GEL-Kayano 27 is that it is updated with the Gender Specific Trusstic which caters to the differences in male and female biomechanics. For women, the Space Trusstic System features added support for forward motion, whereas men have more arch support toward the inside of the arch. For instance, the FLYTEFOAM cushioning is softer in the women’s model and there’s an added 3mm of foam to cater to the biomechanics needs of women’s feet/.
