New for the Flow Velociti SE, the upper of the shoe is a flat knit with excellent elasticity, mechanical stretch, great breathability, and structure over the metatarsal for added support and security. It is designed with a clean simplistic look that’s one with your foot. With infused woven TPU yarn around the midfoot and heel, it optimizes foothold. The strength of the TPU yarns gives you a more secure and consistent fit over the life of the shoe — a unique design to UA knit uppers.
An outsole built for effortless speed.
With a vision to create a shoe that’s built for speed and breaking barriers, the need for a rubber outsole has been eliminated from the UA Flow Velociti SE to reduce weight. Despite the lightweight, eliminating the rubber on the outsole does not sacrifice its durability and traction. It still gives you security while taking the shoe out for your run. No matter where you run rain or shine, it offers a seamless ride on varying surfaces.

The UA Flow Velociti SE is digitally connected to the MapMyRun App. The App offers real-time, personalized coaching tips based on your cadence, pace, and stride. During your run, you can get uplifted by the virtual coach from MapMyRun to provide you live feedback and custom advice on how to improve your running form. With a digital sensor embedded in the midsole, you can easily collect your metrics sent via Bluetooth to the App, and evaluate your precise progress and check your historical data, which allow for better pace prediction and planning for future runs.
How did UA Flow come about?
The UA Flow disrupts the design of a traditional running shoe by completely eliminating the rubber outsole, reducing the 2 – 3 ounces of weight that it adds, on average, from a traditional running shoe. The midsole technology made its debut in the basketball category with the launch of Stephen Curry’s signature shoe, the Curry Flow 8, under his new namesake brand.
