After claiming silver in the men’s 1km time trial of the Men’s C1 category,  clocking 1:15.432s to finish just 0.25s behind gold medallist Ten Argiles (1:15.182s), while Ermakov took the bronze medal in 1:17.657s, on Friday, Yusof Hafizi stormed to gold on the final day of the 2025 UCI Para Cycling Track World Championships in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, on Sunday.

The 28-year-old made history in the Men’s C1 200m sprint, a category for athletes with the most severe impairments who compete on standard bicycles, powering across the finish line ahead of Spain’s Ricardo Ten Argiles and Ivan Ermakov of the Independent Neutral Athletes.
