The Organizing Committee of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games and the 2020 Paralympics have elected Ronizam Ismail, a national commissaire to serve as the National Technical Officer (NTO) at the games from 23 July to 28 August.
The selection of Ronizam Ismail as NTO for the mountain bike (MTB) event in Ohno, Izu, Shizuoka Prefecture, was submitted by the Japan Cycling Federation (JCF) to the Organizing Committee of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games and 2020 Paralympics.
The UCI qualified commissaire has more than 20 years of extensive experience and understands the latest laws of the sport of MTB. He has a strong passion for MTB and BMX. He is the facilitator for National Commissaire Courses.
Since 2010, he’s been taking care of BMX in Malaysia and developing BMX National Series with Malaysia Malaysian National Cycling Federation (MNCF). He involved in designing the BMX route for the 2017 Sea Games next to the Nilai National Velodrome.
