Compared to its previous models, the GEL-Nimbus 24 has the biggest upgrade and improvement on its new FlyteFoam Blast+ midsole. It gives you the extra comfort with its new gusseted tongue in the upper and softer midsole which delivers much more responsiveness and a snug foot lockdown.
The new 24 model takes this to a brand new level. The new running shoe weighs in about 10 grams lighter than previous models!

Upper
If this running shoe is not going to make you run faster, it is surely going to help you run miles after miles because of its engineered mesh upper which wraps the foot with a soft feel.
It gives a sensational breathability and comfort especially during long runs. An OrthoLite X-55 sockliner and the flexible midfoot panel add extra cushion for a softer step-in feel.
What’s more we love about the new Nimbus is its tongue which has been modified from previous versions. It is now thin and ultra-stretchy. When you put in the shoe, it allows your foot stay snugly and comfortable while you run.
Midsole
With the inclusion of ASICS’ FlyteFoam Blast+ foam in the midsole, the GEL-Nimbus 24 now feels lighter, more responsive, and smoother ever before.
By moving seamlessly with your foot, they help your stride feel smoother in every step. The new FlyteFoam cushioning and GEL technology keep the shoe lightweight with excellent shock absorption while providing a softer feeling underfoot. This material also helps increase the shoe’s rebound properties at the toe-off stage.
Outsole
Don’t you be worried about knee pain or joint pain! If you’re running on hard surfaces, the improved cushioning and the new outsole rubber prevent you from getting hurt.
The outsole combines two rubbers: the good old AHAR which gives you all the durability you need and the ASICS LITE outsole rubber which is lighter, stronger, and more sustainable than standard outsole materials.
The running shoe has an enhanced stability thanks to the Trusstic System technology which reduces the weight of the sole unit while retaining the structural integrity of the shoe.
